I used to have a neighbor that made some salsa one day. I watched them put tomato, onion, peppers, cilantro, and maybe garlic, I can’t remember, into a pot and boiled the ingredients for a few minutes. After, they blended the stuff up…boom…salsa..and it was great. It was a 20 min process. I’m about on my 20th try at making salsa, and although it always turns out “fine” and edible, it’s never great. Yes, they were Mexican and I am not, but it’s not that….I think.
My son-in-law’s father walked me through the process. Again, nothing complicated. His was great, mine was blah. ???
